A woman with freckled skin

Cardiff Dermatology Online

If you need advice from a Consultant Dermatologist, we can help. All skin problems can be addressed including rashes (acne, eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, urticaria etc), or lesions, including potential skin cancers, as well as benign lesions including naevi (moles), warts and skin tags.

In this service you will be able to send photographs of your rash or lesion to our website. This will then be assessed, and we will then telephone you to discuss your case. This clinic can also offer online virtual consultations via Skype, Zoom, Facetime and WhatsApp. You will be given a diagnosis and advice on management.

Following your consultation, a letter will then be emailed or sent to your General Practitioner, so as to ensure that your medical records are complete. We will advise your General Practitioner what treatment to prescribe for you, or we can provide a private prescription for you to take directly to a Pharmacy. If excision/removal of any lesion is required, this can be performed at our clinics at the Spire Cardiff Hospital or the Cardiff Bay Hospital. Cryotherapy (freezing) of warts and other lesions, and other treatments such as injections of Botulinum Toxin for hyperhidrosis (excess sweating) can also be arranged.
